Art History Slide Study Guide

im making this flash interface for my art history class...mostly because i've found it really difficult to try to memorize everything while trying to sift through 500 pages of jarbled text. so i thought i'd make things a bit clearer, and in the process hopefully memorize this stuff (since i have a midterm in two days!). i got strong support from the teacher to start this, and she will be using this for all her classes when i'm done. this is my first real go at any sort of interface, and it's nowhere near complete...just the bones of the timeline feature.
